About STEP Initiative
In 2011, Dr. Jain and his wife Kanika made the decision to pursue more giving opportunities within the United States, specifically in Dallas-Ft. Worth. The Foundation targeted education as an area where catalytic impact could be made and decided to focus on technology integration. This launched the STEP Initiative, which aims to provide access to technology for under resourced classrooms and leverage innovative curriculum.
The primary goals of the step INITIATIVE are to:
provide access to digital tools in under-resourced schools
harness technology to support innovative and individualized teaching
prepare young students for the digital dimension
