Like the school’s namesake, Nathan Adams Elementary (PK-5) has significant history in Northeast Dallas dating back to 1969 when the school was built as a Dallas ISD school.

Mirroring the diversity of their student population, the curriculum and related student activities include the Learning Gardens, Green Team, food drives, and nonviolence pledges. These initiatives support the school’s ultimate goal of providing students with a well-rounded and engaging education.

Nathan Adams joined StEP in 2014. Utilizing applications such as Math Owl App and Quizlet, Nathan Adams teachers have reported increased student engagement and differentiated learning experiences in their classrooms.

The Nathan Adams  mascot is the Armadillo, and their school colors are blue and silver
