The Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences houses a variety of programs and colleges, of which we work in the Rural Medical College. The Rural Medical College was started in 1984 and offers a variety of  medical courses and services focused on problem based learning, community oriented medical education, outreach programs, and extended home care and learning programs. We currently have one maternal health project at this site.

JDF's maternal health project at the Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences was started in March 2015. The local champion for this site is Dr. Bangal, Professor and Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. We currently support four auxiliary nurse midwives and one counselor cum data manager.
