Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital

Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital (GTB) was founded in 1979 and has grown to have a 1,000 bed capacity. GTB serves as both a medical treatment center and teaching hospital associated with the University College of Medical Science, University of Delhi. They see an average of 4,000 patients in their OPD daily and they are equipped with a variety of services including CT scanning, thallesemia day care, and hemo-dialysis and peritoneal dialysis. We currently have one pediatric oncology project at this site.

We began working at GTB through our implentation partner, CanKids...KidsCan in early 2015. Our local champion is Dr. Sunil Gomber, pediatrician at GTB. We currently support one social worker cum data manager at this site.
