Sher-I-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences
Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir
The Sher-I-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) was founded in 1977 to provide quality and progressive patient care and medical education to its patients and students, respectively. SKIMS was also created to better serve the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir so that dependence on out of state medical institutions would be reduced and patients could receive quality care locally, regardless of state turmoil or natural disasters. We currently have one pediatric oncology and one palliative care at site at this project.
