Narayana Hrudayalaya, also referred to as NH Health City Bangalore, houses the Narayana Institute of Cardiac Science, as well as the Mazumdar Shaw Medical Center. The Mazumdar Shaw Medical Center includes a variety of specaity institutes, such as the Institute of Neurosciences, Institute for Kidney and Renal Care, Institute for Gastrointestinal and Liver Diseases, and the Mazumdar Shaw Cancer Center. The Mazumdar Shaw Cancer Center is a NABH accredited Multi specialty hospital that provides a variety of diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical medical services across diverse clinical specialties. It is home to India's largest bone marrow transplant unit with 14 beds. We currently have one pediatric oncology project at this site.

IPOI

We began working at Narayana Hrudayalaya's Mazumdar Shaw Medical Center in their pediatric department in late 2014 through our local partner, CanKids. Our local champion is Dr. Sunil Bhat, a pediatric hematologist oncologist who is trained in bone marrow transplantation. We currently support one social worker cum data manager at this site.
