Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences

The Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) was created in 1989, under the NIMS Act of 1989. As enumerated in the NIMS Act, NIMS was created as an institution for quality medical education and teaching excellence. It also serves as a referral center, in addition to acting as a center for research for new methods of medical education and current medical innovations to better serve its students and patients. We currently have one pediatric oncology project at this site.

JDF began working at NIMS in 2008 within the pediatric oncology department. Our current local champion is Dr. Sadashivudu Gundethi, Associate Professor of Medical Oncology. We currently support one nurse and one social worker cum data manager at this site.
